Enables changing diagnostic data during runtime
In ISO 13209-3 [3] extensions are specified to use, amongst other systems, MCD projects and the associated VehicleInformation implicitly. In case of an underlying MVCI-Server the functionality of this extension is limited. There is no possibility to select or change the current project and one associated VehicleInformation. The OTX DiagConfiguration extension has therefore been introduced to overcome this limitation. It enables selecting and changing the currently used project and one associated VehicleInformation. Furthermore it enables getting the current project SHORT-NAME, version and the current VehicleInformation SHORT-NAME.
The extension can be used to set an MCD project at the beginning of an OTX sequence or to change the currently used MCD project. It does not prohibit the run-time system from implicitly selecting an MCD project.
IMPORTANT — If an OTX runtime system is running in parallel to another diagnostic system that uses the same base system, this extension can cause problems because in case of an MVCI-Server only one project can be selected at same time.
